A truly portable bluetooth speaker

by Shulan Xiao autoboss scanner
I already have two portable wireless stereo speakers. One is a very nice Sony portable, about 20 cms long. The other is a little round thing about the size of small fist. They both work fine and are both portable, but only is as much as you can move them from place to place. What you can't do is slip them easily in yoiur pocket and take it with you. I have bought a few Lumsing products in the past and have been very happy with them. Lumsing sent me this speaker and asked me to try it out, but stressed that I didn't like it I was free to say so. As it turns out, I think it is great.

The size is crazy small. It is just 4.5 cms square - less than 2 inches square. It has a satisfying weight to it but really does easily fit in a pocket. It connects easily by Bluetooth to my iphone 5S and unlike my other speakers - the difference with this one is that it's easy to have with you. A really significant factor is the sound quality. Well of course this is not a Zeppelin Air or similar, but it is way better than the iphone speaker and gives a clear sound at a reasonable volume. I played "All about that bass" and "comfortably numb". Both were fine.

It is easy to charge through micro USB (cable supplied) and there is also a supplied mini jack to micro USB cable supplied so that you can plug in if your device is non bluetooth.

I haven't played it for 12 hours yet, but the instructions say it lasts 12 hours on a charge and I have no reason to doubt it.
I think you have to be realistic with bluetooth speakers - if you want the very best quality sound then you need to spend a lot more money, but if you want a truly portable tiny speaker that is loads better than your phone then give it a try.
