A Guide to What to Wear and When

by Ibhana Boutique Designer
It has been truly said fashion is ever evolving. Women no longer dress the same today as they used to in the early days. While there are certain traditions that still hold good for some reason or the other like white is not to be worn in weddings or special occasions there are certain things which need to be taken care of always.

Old etiquette of fashion says do not wear black, red or white but the new etiquette says that black and red are perfectly fine but white should be avoided even now in the weddings. If you are puzzled about what to wear then let the invitation, season and the occasion are your best guides. For instance, a knee-length dress made up of cotton in warm weather or the strapless styles with open-toed footwear look cool. To avoid sun simple hats also look cool. If the event is semiformal then cocktail dresses with pale pink shade look cool.

Joseph Ribkoff dresses are well-known and are created both for the parties and for the special occasions. The brand is loved by all because of its designs and deep understanding of fashion style. Floor length gowns are meant for the special occasions. They look trendy and cool. Dresses as short as knee-length that have formal or semi-formal cut are appropriate for casual purposes.

Wearing sleeveless or strapless dresses where people go for worship and have strict rules about the body parts full covered is not sensible. You need to save your best outfits for the best day. A dress, a cardigan and a jacket with some sparkle look amazingly cool.

Cocktail dresses always look super stylish. These days, the cocktail parties can be literally anything. But, mostly cocktail parties are a low-key group that usually gather around the crudités. However, dresses worn in the cocktail parties are simply casuals. So, you cannot go wrong if you get to wear a top with some designs on it, or a skirt or tailored pants. The heels or the fancy flats that you put look great if it is of the same color as the dress. It is better to avoid fabrics like denim, jersey, and chino.

For a dinner party, a black dress with heels goes well. There are a number of variables to take care of like what time of the year it is, who is hosting the party and what is the special occasion. If you undress then you end up offending your companions for the dinner. If you overdress you feel uncomfortable and out of the place.

You are what you wear so choosing the right trend and the right dress for any occasion will make you feel good about yourself.
