  • Then a black window will come on your screen with scrolling filename. Do not manually close this window. It will automatically close when the reboot.bat file has completed.
  • Once this done, restart your computer.

For this you have to uninstall QuickBooks software so keep download file, installation CD and license numbers handy.

  • You have to re-install QuickBooks using a clean install.
  • After this update the software to the latest version.
  • Then go to the file menu and you will find Close Company or Logoff Note, click on it. In case you open multiple company files in QuickBooks Pro, for each of them you have to do this step.
  • Click on the file and then on Exit.
  • After this step Run as administrator.
  • During this step make sure No Company Open on screen.
  • Select Update QuickBooks by going to the Help Menu.
  • Select Options and choose Mark all button and then click save.
  • After this click on Update Now tab
  • Then clock on Reset Update then select Get Updates.
  • Once the update is complete a pop up will appear on the screen and then close the program.
  • Again open the QuickBooks software. In case, the pop up appears to install update then click on yes.
  • Once this is done, restart your computer.
