A Baby Scan Can Bring Both Parents Close To The Unborn Baby
by Alice Thomas WriterUsually, parenthood begins at a different pace for both parents. For instance, the mothers pick up the maternal instincts right when she sees 2 lines on the pregnancy strip. For father, on the other hand, the journey starts only after there is an extra headcount in the family. Though this is not a golden rule for every father-to-be, it has been found true for most parents. However, certain things can actually help them bond even better, for both father and mother.
Mrs. Emilia Bones, a mother of a 6 months baby girl, shares her experience with us, regarding her visit to the 4D baby scan clinic.
“ I have been given the good news by my routine gynecologist and she even took a basic ultrasound scan for me too. I broke the news to my husband with the scan print and a bag full of pregnancy. He was really happy and literally swept me off my feet. Eventually, he began to help with the baby preparations and stuff but always referred to the baby in the future tense, as if the baby wasn't still there.
I felt a little odd at first then I realized, since i am experiencing all the changes within my body, its impossible for me not too drenched in maternal instincts, for him though, it's going to take some more time.
We decided to go for a subsequent scan and we went for the 4 D baby scan clinic. Something extraordinary happened that none of us saw coming. My husband is a firefighter whom I have never seen finching even when he comes back with injuries and burn, but that was the first time I saw him feeling so emotional. We also requested to know the gender of the baby and he was particularly overwhelmed to know that it was a girl.
The remaining period of pregnancy after the scan was different in so many aspects. He started picking up names and ended up nesting even more than me. We finally picked the name Adaline and I have to agree she is wearing the name very gracefully. I have to admit the baby scan clinic session changes quite a lot for both of us, but particularly for him. “
