800 Mbps Wireless Local Area Network !!!

We all know that in wireless Internet, Wi Fi is the most popular way for transmitting data wireless. And also It is the fastest wireless Internet technology currently available.

But soon it can be replaced by something more interesting. I have read on Internet that scientists are searching for new wireless technology which can surely beat the Wifi in the future. I mean it can be the fastest wireless communication by beating the Wifi.

As far as I know about it, Scientist have made some colorful lights using LED bulbs. They are using this LED lights for transmitting data from one source to the destination. And by this technology they were able to create wireless local area network with the speed of 800 Mbps !!! That's a great speed I guess . It is way faster than the current Internet Technology and beat all the previous speed of the Internet.

I have heard that they are having some problems too, I mean it having some kind of drawbacks. Hope they will able to get success.
