4. Address book 

Other than iTunes, You can find your missing contacts on the address book in Mac. To enable Contact backup in the address book;

  • Open "address book" in Mac Application 
  • Tap on "files."
  • Select "export">" export Vcard."
  • Specify the destination to save export "vcard." You should name the file with the extension ".vcf file."

5. Email backup 

The email application can also help you restore the lost contacts from your iPhone. Follow the below steps to complete the backup process. 

  • Tap Settings on your iPhone screen
  • Select "mail, contact, Calendars." 
  • Tap" Add account." 
  • Select "exchange' 
  • Input email account details 
  • On the next page, Tap "save and export" to export contacts to the email account.
