Packing for a winter vacation needs special care and strategy so that you do not overburden yourself with luggage and at the same time carry all the essential things that will be useful in your trip. The need to carry extra warm clothes like fashionable sweaters or jackets increases the size of the luggage and is usually hectic to carry around. • Hats or Mufflers: Make sure you have a good hat that you can wear throughout your journey. If not, a woollen muffler would do the job. • Pack boots, not shoes: In snowy areas, you will need a pair of boots more than shoes. This is because the shoe tends to get wet easily while walking on the snow. Thus, rubber boots are the only solution. Rubber boots are very comfortable to wear and will match almost everything you wear. 

• Pack gloves and lightweight socks: Socks obviously help your feet to stay warm for a long time. But you do need to make sure that you don’t get them wet. Without gloves, your fingers may feel freezing and bar you from holding things.
