Very informative. A few cents from my end also...( a habit that needs to be changed for healthy teeth )

Some of us are in the habit of taking longer time brushing our teeth and also putting lot of pressure on the teeth while brushing. This does more harm than good to our teeth. Persistent scrubbing can damage enamel and gums, while still not making our teeth any cleaner...According to a research, the ideal brushing time is two minutes and the ideal pressure 150 grams, which is about the weight of an orange. So manage this and take care of your teeth...

Oh yeah Qaim, you have a very relevant question and as per most of the dentists we should start taking care of our children teeth as soon as they appear in their mouth. It is also a good idea to use a clean finger or damp cloth to wipe a child's gums before teeth even appear. And as the two teeth erupt flossing should be started to prevent cavities between these teeth.

As long as teeth are present, tooth decay is a concern. Sometimes brushing and flossing a child's teeth can be a battle of wills...
