5 Proven Conversion Strategies for Ecommerce

by dinesh kumar Digital Marketing Is The New Marketing

Are you noticing a decline in your e-commerce for the last few months? Things not looking up and heated as they were when you are started off? Yeah, that tends to happen because people are an easily distracted bunch. One second you could have the most loyal customer on the planet, but the second another product turns up on the market with their bells and whistles, they move on. I don't blame them either. If your customers were that satisfied with your brand and your services, that would not push you further to reinvent yourselves.

Sometimes, it's not even the brand that needs some reinventing. Your marketing strategies could use some brushing up. Especially those conversion strategies. Let's dusty up those cobwebs and think of some ways to get your clicks going through to those carts.

App it up

It is probably the first thing you should have done when you created an e-commerce store. Among digital marketing circles, it is a given that when you create an e-commerce website, you create a shopping app for it too. This is because unlike a website that you just visit once and probably won't until you are painfully reminded of it in the future - an app is forever. It stays on your mobile and through this, you can notify your users of the latest offers you have.

Most of the impulsive midnight shopping is done by millennials on their mobiles. Having an app is the best way because the cash transactions are much easier to handle this way. You feel more secure doing it all er here too. Not just that, with this, you get the opportunity to have a personized homepage or some sort of customization opportunities that you cannot have on a normal website.

Abandoned Carts

Yeah, this point kind of blends with the one earlier. If you knew the number of people who have abandoned carts because of some last minute change of mind or distraction, it would blow your mind. People are kind of on their edge when it comes to the paying part of the shopping experience. A lot of your customers and going to go away at that point. How about implementing a strategy that keeps all these users in check. You can take inspiration from Amazon. They do that thing where if you have left something hanging out there, you are going to get informed through pop up notifications. It can be something as simple as a little message that informs your users what have they left behind and that the stocks are clearing.

Nothing like a little motivation to get the blood rushing for your customer to get those to click and buy.

What now?

There are a few things that you need to know. There are lot more strategies there are to the whole shebang.
