Demand for rented houses has got increased drastically. People go away from house to stay because of jobs and studies. Migration of people has got increased. Nowadays business people are also moving to other cities. We can see people from almost all states in one city, for example Bangalore. Such cities have become center part of the country. Few more are there, where we can see people from all over the India. We can even see foreigners in such cities. When people move to another city there will be need for rented houses. Immediately people cannot buy their own house and may take some time to buy. Some people will not buy houses in other cities as they will be having their own properties in their hometown.

We should do background verification of tenants whom we want to give our house for rent. Nowadays we cannot trust anybody so the tenant should be background verified. We should ask for all identity proofs from the tenants for safety purpose.


We should discuss about security deposit, rent and deductions while leaving if any of house in advance. We should be very clear about all these things so that there should not be any problem while taking rent or while tenants are leaving.


We should make tenants aware of dos and don’ts while at home before giving for rent. We should make them clear that which things are allowed and which are not allowed.

We should make clear whether electricity bills, water bills, and maintenance charges are included in rent or should be paid separately so that there will not be any confusion.
