4 Ways to Study Smart and Quick

Time is limited for study a for any student it is not enough. Some assignments have to be completed, projects to work upon, and the tests to study for. Furthermore, there are other activities and commitments and a social life with friends.

When time is less, it makes sense to study smart, get good marks and live a life that’s full of fun. The primary aim of education is not to get the best grades in each subject. However, learning how to learn well is a vital life skill.Here are some ways to study smartly.

1-Learn in Various Ways

There is research to show that different media has a different effect on the various part of the brain. When the learning activates more areas of the brain, it is more likely to that you will understand and retain the information for sure. So, when you are learning a specific topic, here is what you can do.

 

·         Read the class notes carefully and do activities that are mentioned.

·         When you are reading the textbook, please read it carefully.

·         There are many apps for science that you can use.

·         Look for various other online resources.

·         Create a map in mind that you have learnt.

·         If you can get the opportunity to teach what you have learnt, avail it.

·         While practising problem, do so from the different sources.

 

While you will not be able to do these things in one sitting, but each time you come across a new topic, use the different resources or methods to learn quickly and effectively.

2-Study Different Subjects Everyday

It’s more effective to study various subjects each day to help you remain focussed. It is better to study various subjects each day to help you keep focussed than to deep-dive in one or two subjects. For instance, if you are preparing for an exam in math, science and history, it is better to study each subject every day. In this way, you can learn faster than by focussing just ona single subject.

3-Revise What You Have Learned Periodically

Periodic revisionsis essential if you want to move learning from the short-term memory and reinforce it into long-term learning. It will surely help you get better grades. The best review interval varies and depends on how long you want to retain the information.

4-Donot Be a Back Bencher

If you get an opportunity to sit in the class, prefer a seat in the front. There are studies to show that the students who sit in the front tend to get better scores in the exams. In research, it was found that the students who sit in the front row, almost eighty-percent of them get better scores. When you are at one of the front rows, you will be able to see the board and hear the teacher more clearly.
