It is undeniable that a large percentage of the population worldwide depends heavily on mobile devices every single day. From playing games to sending and receiving calls and messages, the list could go on and on.  Since our mobile phones are of extreme importance, it is just necessary to protect them in the best way that we can.

Today, one of the most popular types of protection comes in the form of a mobile case. However, no matter what brand of case you choose, inevitably, they will soon lose their original color, form, and functionality due to tear and wear. Fortunately, you can maximize the benefits of a mobile case by doing these 3 cleaning tips from time to time.

3 Cleaning Tips For Your Phone Case:

Before getting into work, make sure to remove your mobile phone out of the case first. Even if you’re in a rush, do not ever attempt to clean your case while your phone is still inside it. Liquids can quickly get into the holes and cracks which can cause damages to your device. If your case is made up of plastic with a silicon component, you have to detach the parts first.

Now, it’s time to prepare your mixture. It is highly recommended to use 1 cup of water with a single drop of dish soap. Mix thoroughly with a spoon. Then, get a toothbrush and dip it into the container. Scrub the surface of the case in a circular motion. You can also perform back and forth movement. Take note of the crannies and nooks on your mobile case. Make sure to clean the interior as well as the exterior. Aside from a toothbrush, you can also use a soft, clean cloth.

Once you’re confident that you have already scrubbed off the grime and dirt, you can proceed with rinsing. Rinse off the soapy water thoroughly and dry your case using a soft, dry cloth. After this step, allow another hour for your case to dry before putting your device back. You can clean your case as often as necessary, it totally depends on the way you use your phone.

The golden rule is always to take your phone out of the case. Separate multiple parts as necessary. Then, pour rubbing alcohol in a cup. It is highly recommended to use alcohol with 70 percent concentration or even higher. Dip a soft cloth and scrub the surface and back of your case. You can also make the circular motion to reach each and every corner. Afterward, use another clean cloth for drying. If your rubbing alcohol is in a spray bottle, do not worry as you can spray it directly onto your case. Leave it for an hour to air dry before using your case again. You can repeat this cleaning tip at least once every month.

Again, remember the golden rule. Once the case is removed, sprinkle just enough amount of baking soda over the spot with stain. Using a wet toothbrush, carefully scrub the tough stains. Keep rubbing until the hardened spots soften. If quite a moment passed and the stain is still there, then you might need a stronger stain remover. Rinse off using a soft cloth soaked in water. Then, dry using another cloth before putting it on a safe space where it can air dry for an hour.

The above-mentioned tips are just simple and easy to do. However, don’t take them for granted as these essential cleaning hacks can make all the difference in your investment.
