2012 Newest Launch Creader Vi software update and Creader V update procedure

1 - GO TO WWW.CRECORDER.COM

2 - CLICK ON REGISTER (COMPLETE ALL DETAILS)

3 - THE SERIAL NUMBER OF THE UNIT IS ON THE PAGE 1 OF THE USERMANUAL

4 - RETURN TO HOME PAGE AND LOG IN WITH USERNAME AND PASSWORD YOU CREATED

5 - GO TO DOWNLOAD CENTRE 

6 - CLICK ON C-READER V DOWNLOAD CENTER IN BLUE WRITING 

7 - CLICK ON CREADER V UPGRADE PACKAGE V3.2

8 - CLICK ON SAVE AND SAVE TO DESK TOP ALLOW PROGRAM TO DOWNLOAD 

9 - ON DESKTOP WILL NOW HAVE A ICON OF COMPUTER WITH CREADER-V

10 - CLICK ON ICON ON DESKTOP, CLICK RUN, I AGREE LICENSE (YOU DO NOT NEED TO PUTSERIAL NUMBER IN), CLICK NEXT, FILL IN NAME AND COMPANY, CLICK NEXT, THEN NEXT AGAIN AND NEXT AGAIN THEN FINISH.

11- CLICK START, CLICK PROGRAMS, HIGHLIGHT CREADER-V

12- CLICK ON RED BOX WITH CR INSIDE IT AND THE WORD LAUNCH BESIDE IT 

13 - THE UPDATE TOOL WILL NOW APPEAR ON DESK TOP 

14 - CONNECT C-READER TO COMPUTER WITH USB LEAD 

15 - IT MAY SAY FOUND NEW HARDWARE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION 

16 - CLICK ON START AND IT WILL START UPDATING

17 - IF HAVING PROBLEMS WE HAVE A DEFAULT USERNAME AND PASSWORD TO LOG ONTO THEWEBSITE WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TO DOWNLOAD 

18 - USERNAME ********

19 - PASSWORD ******** 

20 -THEN REPEAT FROM STEP 5

Go to www.crecorder.com and download the latest upgrade package for the Creader Vi to a convenient location (eg:desktop) on your computer

Unlike the older Creader v the Creader Vi USB drivers are included in the upgrade and will need to be installed before the computer will see the tool

Run the Upgrade installer

Connect the Creader Vi to a USB port

Point the computer to look for the USB drivers in: /program files or program files (x86)/Launch/Creader VI Tool

Choose proper driver required for your computer eg: XP-Vista or Win7

Once driver is installed run the program to update the Creader Vi
