Something about Super Bowl

by Josiy white

The Super Bowl was created as part of the merger agreement between the National Football League (NFL) and  its competitive rival, the American Football League (AFL)。 After its inception in 1920, the NFL fended off several rival leagues before the AFL began play in 1960. The intense competitive war for players and fans led to serious merger talks between the two leagues in 1966.It  is the championship game of the National Football League (NFL), the highest level of professional American football in the United States. The Super Bowl uses Roman numerals to identify each game, rather than the year in which it is held.

For super bowl is the highest level championship game .The winner will enjoy a high admiration in sports world. what is more, the victories’  nfl jerseys would be the memorable thing for their fans. It is an easy way to show their love for their players is wearing wholesale nfl jerseys with the same number and color. I am also a nfl fan, It begun in high school as a student. That was good news for me to find a wide rang of cheap jerseys. I do not need to worry about money.

The location in which the Super Bowl is played is determined four years in advance. In other words, the sites for the next four Super Bowls have already been determined as of today. In order to host a Super Bowl, a city must make a bid, and NFL owners then assess cities that qualify. They consider and evaluate topics such as stadium quality, the capacity for guest accommodations, restaurants, parking, and stadium and general city security. Bids are typically placed several years in advance, so that the city can complete any construction necessary in order to host an event of such magnitude.

Early Super Bowls featured a halftime show consisting of marching bands from local colleges or high schools; but as the popularity of the game increased, a trend where popular singers and musicians performed during its pre-game ceremonies and the halftime show, or simply sang the national anthem of the United States, emerged. Unlike regular season or playoff games, thirty minutes are allocated for the Super Bowl halftime.

While the Super Bowl is one of the most exciting events of the year for sports fans, there is not much that sets the game's rules apart from those of any regular season or postseason game. In even-numbered Super Bowls, the AFC is designated as the home team, and in odd-numbered Super Bowls the NFC is the home team. All rules of the regular season apply to the Super Bowl game except for the length of overtime. If the game goes into overtime, the first team to score wins, regardless of how long it takes.
