Bottled Water Preferred Over Tap Water in the America

The notion that bottled water was more safe to drink than tap water, lead to 10 billion gallons of bottled water consumed by the residents of the America. As per statistics, the black and Latino’s of the America were claimed to be the highest consumers of bottled water in comparison to the white people.

As per a study from the Archives of Pediatric Adolescent Medicine made on 632 parents, 32% of the consumers were Latino, 33% African American, and 35% white. The African American and Latino were three times more liable to give their family members bottled water for consumption purpose.

As per a National Resources Defense Council investigation, 17% of bottled waters had bacterial loads that were considered unsafe; 22% were contaminated with enough chemicals, including arsenic, that they wouldn't pass the strictest state standards, moreover, bottled water were just purified form of tap water.

The bottled water was linked with the contraction of diarrhea among children. As per a data of 2010, 45% children were diagnosed diarrhea and those children consumed bottled water regularly. The bottled water was the reason of developing various diseases in people, whereas the tap water was claimed to be rich in fluoride, which strengthens the teeth of children.
