News on indexing sites and explaining Panda

by Robert Bridge Hiya
Panda is a Google protocol that happened this week. Many of you have been enjoying the Google Logarithms.

The past year has been great as they were experimenting with various things to make things better for bloggers, website owners and anyone who generally want to get indexed.

You've been told to get more subscribers, find more leads and successfully track the news you wish to see in Google Analytics.

You may or may not have noticed a wonderful abundance of Google blogs posted on Blogspot from Google staff keep you updated. For example the Google App engine is a place where you can host your website.

This paid version means a site designed here on there own API you can potentially have millions of clicks per month without receiving any server errors

Or the Google SEO blog's with comments like on the Google Forums spearheaded by Amit Singhal and Matt Cutts. Do this, do that, site-maps work, site-maps don't work. Well site maps do work if you have the right one, but navigating around websites easily without to much confusion is always a great solution, depending on the type of website you created.

But arguably if you have the time going into your blog and creating a heap of internal links within posts will creat a better hub for your readers to navigate through your posts, but how has Panda protocol changed the way you go about improving SEO and upping your Time spent online on your efforts (ROI)?

Marketing and keyword tagging seems to be the underlining highlight of this month's news, common knowledge for avid readers of Google forums, but indecisive from the new updated franchises within say Yahoo. I do believe Yahoo have also integrated this principle however I am still in two minds whether to delete the Yahoo suggestions keywords plug-in within Wordpress. Any comments on this would be appreciated.

Here's my argument for Yahoo Keyword suggested tool. Its not a long tail search term and anything that reads my blurbs and gives me guidance at the click of a button about what is hot and what is not, then I am sure it will help me (remember the % of repetition of words in the content.

  • Rather than get you confused with my stuff and what I blog about in an attempt to get traffic let me conclude on why Free hosted sites are still useful. You can multi post great content from your mobile phone, then transfer these images your video's to your hosted blog.

  • Things like Wordpress.com already have kosher RSS enabled Sitemaps which index perfectly well in search engines. That's if you can brush aside the fears about security of your information on these places, which I sure you will.

  • On the topic of images and image indexing again this is something you may find useful within the Panda topic. But you will have to observe the MSN Bing style change of how images index and the URL connected to that image. Image index has always been a good way to get useable tags into your post that register in engines.

Finally and I end this personal blurb here for you guy's n gal's on Apsense about my observations to somehow guide you as little I can in the wonderful abundant world of information floating around the SEO sphere and that is Google Places. Some of you may like many last year set up a nice ad for your website with a tag on the Map well you might want to double check its still there becuase it has been announced this nominal paid service is being phased out and replaced with something else equally as effective, I leave that upto you to keep track ok. Please leave me comments as and when you find out something special too on this topic.

Please add me as a friend on HubPages even though they have taken a bit of a knock in regards to HubPage users. I am confident if you know what your doing HubPages and Squidoo things will like the free blogs serve your businesses well!

Its still changing Philippe moreso within Yahoo and Bing. SEo reporters say image indexing has changed with Bing, the links to the images have changed. that happened this week along with Google places and also Google video's that end services this week. But yes Panda has been in effect for about that time, a years worth of changes.

Nice post here Robert, Google Panda update is simply good for any web pages that provides value contents. In my view, autopilot or sites that carries duplicate content will be most effected by this Google algorithm changes. Those running 100 site or 1000 sites for ads income will be in trouble. If follow good business ethics there should be no issue with Google's Panda updates. It's good for genuine websites and blogs runs by real people.

Sure that's true Rammesh and thanks for reminding the readers but the spin offs around the Panda protocol go well beyond what you call value contents. The original thread from Google Forums had a participant whom explained this problem with a couple of his duplicate content sites, I have purposely delved a bit deeper to help people who do not do this sort of thing or whom do not just want a content site ranked in the logarythms of Google or Yahoo. This Panda update includes static sites and free blogs too. Well done Rammesh.
