Beware paybox changed to virtapay.

by Chukwuekwu Okonta Forensic accountant
Few months ago there was a ban on apsense members from advertising paybox in the apsense world. I made my comment in that blog as a welcome development since it will help us from not wasting time in a site that will not benefit anyone online.
To my surprise i followed a link this morning a saw myself landing on paybox page but with a new name called virtapay.The essense of this post is to alert everyone that whether the name is changed or not they are still what they are. So be warn not to fall into those tricks.

These fraudsters give internet marketing a bad name. Unfortunately I have come across several individuals who, despite my showing them to the contrary - with evidence, still passionately believe that Paybox.me/Virtapay is a legitimate money making opportunity. For them, sadly, time will "tell" them the painful truth.

I'm also a member of Paybox.me (now Virtapay) since Dec. 2010 but I already stopped opening my account a week ago. I already earned more than $2,000 virtual currency.... I just wasted my time and effort, hope that others will realize sooner that its a fraud... :-(

Seguimos aguardando o lançamento final do projeto Virtapay que possibilitará a compra de infoprodutos utilizando o saldo ganho.

Not necessarily, I too am a Virtapay (yes yes previously Paybox) member too. I'm not saying it's real, but I am also not saying it's fake.

I am saying though that yes they are virtual currency, but once their Digital Deliver project is completed that vitual currency will be used to buy virtual products (ie, eBooks, Marketing tools, software, maybe even stuff like web conferencing software).

Maybe it's not real I dont know, I stopped promoting it yes, but I am still keeping my eye on it.

PS: They changed their name because too many people thought it was "real" physical money. So they made it more obvious, virta as in virtual payment.

Actually they changed their name because They were committing copyright infringement since there is a legitimate Payment processor called Paybox.com that registered the trade name Paybox.

Also beware of Direct Pay Profits which is the same exact website with a single difference, they claim to pay in USD but have so many loopholes through chargebacks I'll be surprised if anyone gets a single dime from them. Not to mention DPP claims to be the brainchild of two internet marketers and neither of those two people is promoting it.

That copy and paste crap is circulating around the internet that Todd Gross and Derrick Van Dyke are behind this and has been since it first popped up last month. Funny how neither of the so called 'creators' of this program promote or even mention it anywhere of their blogs.

Don't fall for either VirtaPay or Direct Pay Profits.
