Work visa Dubai

If you intend to live and work in Dubai work visa is required. You must obtain a work contract or a valid job offer before going ahead with your visa application.

The working visa is a multiple entry visa, you can exit and enter the country any time and without further formalities. You must obtain a work contract or a job offer from a local company or a foreign company based in Dubai to qualify. Your employer in Dubai (the developer) has to initiate the procedure by asking for a work visa for you at the immigration department. Fees apply and the visa fee and are normally covered by your employer. If these requirements are met, you will receive your card work after your employment contract is valid.


Once the work card in your possession, you must apply for a residence visa, valid for 3 years and renewable. A visa is required for foreigners to settle in Dubai. The visa is issued by the immigration office in Dubai and is not related to consular services in your country. To obtain a residence visa, you must provide proof of residence in Dubai (or leasing). Please note that your residence visa will allow you to sponsor your dependents.

To apply for a residence visa, you must have a valid passport, be 18 to 60 (over 60 for certain occupations), be healthy and possess special skills or qualifications needed in the country. HIV, tuberculosis or hepatitis C tests are carried out systematically, and in case of infection, you will not be allowed to live and work in the UAE.

Your credentials must be authenticated by both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy or Consulate of the UAE in your country of origin.


Entry visa Mission:


The mission entry visa allows the holder to stay up to 14 days in Dubai. The visa is designed for businessmen, company representatives, engineers or doctors sent an emergency mission to the UAE, and can be delivered to a local sponsor for immigration services at the airport. Charges apply.
