Eat 4 to 6 meals a day. Make sure you are consuming a large portion of your daily caloric intake at breakfast. In addition, if you are carbohydrate sensitive, consume your allowable daily carbohydrate intake in the morning to allow your body the opportunity to burn off those calories early. Eating multiple meals each day will give you more energy and reduce your cravings in the late afternoon and evening times.
Focus on nutrition. By focusing on nutrition and less on calories you are changing your mental focus and behavior. The typical fad diet will have you consume low calories and limit your food groups. This is wrong. You need fuel for your body and vitamins and minerals to repair it. So give your body good foods to eliminate cravings and simplify your life.
