The Dawn of a New Year

by Bill Gelwick Social Media Strategist
I have already read many "pep talk" blog posts about "Make 2011 your best year yet". I wanted to take it a bit further.

The end of a year is typically a time to reflect on the previous 12 months. Take a minute to think about the past year. What positives can you take away from 2010? What were some of the negatives that you will want to avoid for the new year? What did you learn last year that you can apply going forward? What training will you require as you head into the next 12 months? In short, which actions got results and which did not? Answering these questions will help you know where to focus your energy.

The other half of the equation we want to examine is our motivation going into the new year. Think back a week or so to Christmas. Did you get what you hoped for? More importantly, were you able to give the types of gifts you would have liked? How different will your Christmas morning look this year?

If you are still working a day job, were you able to take some time off during the holidays? Nice wasn't it? How much nicer would it be to be home EVERY day? Imagine being able to take advantage of your own peak hours. If you are at your best from midnight to 1 AM, or from 5 to 9 in the morning, you can work whatever hours suite you best.

What would you do differently if you were home every day? Would you make more time to play with your kids, spend more time with your spouse, take more vacations?

My sincere hope is to see more people be able to live the lifestyle they long for. That is why I have partnered with the top mentoring program on the internet to put together the ultimate business model that can be applied to any business you like. This program is in the finishing stages now and will be live soon. You will not see a big hyped up launch. That is not what we are about. Keep watching my blogs and social media pages for updates as they become available. 2011 WILL be the best year ever for the internet marketer.
