You Can Get Great Marketing Tips Simply By Reading Magazines!

by Jeff Greene Online Marketing Specialist/Consultant
If there is any type of "hard copy " reading going on during The Age Of The Internet, it's probably magazine reading, which is the only form of print that seems to be sustaining a growth period during a recessions and an increasingly "Online migration " of print readers.

As a copywriter who is always looking for insightful inspiration, I'm drawn to magazines that relate to my chosen subjects of the day.

Most of the time, magazines can be read  at the public library or in a local bookstore at no cost, but the problem is that most us "online marketing fanatics " don't can't or won't leave the monitor alone for a few hours to go to these places...

Well, here comes MAGATOPIA , a heck of free website that publishes the online versions of a few thousand magazines!

I'm not afraid to tell you guys that I found out about this great website by reading a magazine, so there! LOL!

And please, before you go-- Sign up for WEBSITE MAGAZINE -- Even if you sign up for the FREE four copies a year, they will plant a tree in your honor!

Wonderful Information.
We have a steady stream of Magazine subscriptions delivered regarding our Business Niches.
A great place to post classified ads, with a link to an Opt-in Page offering our Newsletters.

The sign up rates far exceed that ever received from the glutted, generally poorly marketed Internet advertising venues.
Although the internet is a lower cost venue, the returns are just now as high.

@ Chuck I agree totally we place adverts in speciality magazines and the types of magazines that end up in Doctors surgeries and airport waiting rooms and have had result up to 3 years later

Hi Phillipe, yes a advert in copy of a magazine called the Northumbrian for our furniture range, found in first class waiting room airport in Hong Kong, resulted in ?6,000 ($7,500 US) order for Handcrafted designer furniture, about 3 years after it was placed

Magazines actually outpace newspapers in the reuse category. I have found astonishing business opportunities in 5 and 6 year old magazines that were just sitting around in waiting rooms! :)

Great Idea with online magazines I prefer them these days. It is much better for the environment. I also read postings on forums to get new ideas and to weigh pros and cons when writing a review. Reading is the best preparation for writing and to be sure you have your facts straight.

@Cheryl - during my hiatus (It takes a lot of time and bargaining to come back from the dead...) I've found so much Good Stuff that I could fill about 500 blogs with it! :)

@Sue and Shawn Kelly -- Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
