Our client company is a nationwide company, and is looking for an underwriting manager to come in and be trained by the senior underwriting manager, and take over the role.
Responsibilities:
Participates in team meetings and customer/broker meetings as required.
Ensures that all filings, agreements, security, and other necessary backup functions are completed.
Maintains and reports on profitability of assigned accounts, assures timely completion of all Tracking Reports.
Acts as mentor to newly-hired underwriters.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred, continuing insurance education desired
Success driven individual who has demonstrated 3-10 + years of success in a commercial underwriting role experience of captives and workers compensation.
Ability to analyze variables, such as type & amount of coverage, loss control, credit reports, and loss experience
Hard work, honesty, integrity and unwavering business ethics
