A well designed website is an essential sales tool for any business from traditional brick-and-mortar businesses to non-traditional businesses that may have no physical store-front. But it's not enough that your site have a pretty face. In order for your site to be truly effective, it must be optimized so that it receives a high search engine ranking. Page Rank - More Importantly Is Getting Results - Your Name On The First Page Search Of A Highly Searchable Product - Not Your Name - John Doe - if your selling tanning beds in Florida you want your business listed there where it will be found as people are looking for that product.

The process of optimization, when performed properly, will give your site the visibility it needs to be found among the millions of other sites out there. And let's face it - if your site is not found, it is nothing but an expensive toy.

The Process -

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an ever evolving science which must change to keep up with changes in search engines. Many techniques that used to work are no longer effective. We only use proven techniques which are effective at making your site number one.

Website ranking by the various search engines is a very sophisticated and complex process. Dozens of factors are considered in arriving at a final site ranking. But they all boil down to three things: site structure, page content, and the number and quality of links that point to them.

Some SEO services try to trick the search engines into giving a higher ranking by manipulating page keywords and by pointing dozens of low quality links to the site. These tricks worked - in the beginning. But the search engines quickly caught on and such practices are no longer effective.

Even if these practices were effective, we would not follow them. In addition to being fundamentally dishonest, such tricks are quickly discovered and nullified. We believe that the only way to optimize a site is to do so honestly, based on the content of your site.

Most sites are not properly structured - some even tell search engines not to index them! Your website is optimized by modifying its structure and page content to get the highest possible ranking. This is accomplished without affecting your ability to maintain your site.

The Painful Truth

If you were to do a web-search for your site right now, what page would it appear on? Page 10? Page 20? Consider your own web-search habits. Do you ever search past page 3 of the site rankings? Most people never look beyond page 1. If your site does not appear on page 1 or at worst on page 3, it will never be seen. How effective is a site that is never seen?

As impressive as this is, there's more. After all, the goal of having a website for your business is to make money.
