Online Chatting

As far as my experience goes with online chatting was when I was told about ICQ , the ICQ was instant success with a messenger and little pop-up boxes of message that allows anyone online and in any part of the world to say Hello and then exchange messages with you.

For few months I got hooked onto the IRC chat rooms as more of curiosity of what people chat online. The other serious chatting I got exposed to was when talkcity launched its website exclusively defining and categorizing the chatting.

Yahoo wasnt even there in the picture, The AOL caught up so did the MSN but later MSN decided to put the chatting into its shelf.

The chatting was a quite an experience ! it surely introduces a virtual world of networking.

People got emotionally attached to each other, people physically met , and major chatting portals gave people two important dimensions in addition the the message - the voice and camera.

The more I became involved in chatting the more I realized people lived dual lives. Each person has an image to show it to the outside world and another image which is hidden comes out through the virtual world.
