People often ask me "how long does it take to make money on the web" or "how much capital should I invest"? I always answer: "You should invest the amount of money you can afford to lose in the worst case (in any business, online or offline), and doing business online means WORK.

If you don't do anything, you won't get anything. Make connections with people who also are on the web. Join social networks, promote your site in traffic exchanges, write blogs, forums, join groups, just spread the word around the web about your business.

And always, I mean ALWAYS, be yourself. Otherweis people don't trust you and won't make any business with you. Business is people, people are business."
