What has happened to Apsense Groups?

On a daily basis I used to click in the menu for business groups and browse through the posted subjects. Since a few days ago I can no longer access the business groups or the subjects through any of the menu options.

What's going on guys?

Here is the problem as of 10:20 am Central time on October 28th there are 20 posts on the front page when I check my groups

16 of those posts are spam ads
3 are old group osts that someone has added a comment to (And I do mean OLD!)
1 is a new posting in the APSense group.

Does that explain what happened to groups here at APSense?

Ask the overwhelming number of spammers who moved in and took over here running off all of the serious networkers. 1.0 was a learning ground. We already learned from what happened here that you have to put your foot down and squash the spam from the beginning. And that is what is happening with 2.0. Here the spam crept in and before you knew it all that was happening here was spam.

Just as there are no signature links at 2.0. Why because people will go in and place all sorts of irrelevant comments just to get that signature link seen. There are no advertising blogs under articles, it goes in the marketplace where it belongs. Spam is removed from the site almost as fast as it it posted. If anyone thinks spamming is the way to network stay here and enjoy yourselves, We are looking for the folks there. The ones that understand the concepts of networking and relationship building. We are building a network that people will want to come to. We are building a COMMUNITY, not an adboard/traffic exchange.

That's not bait and switch, that is learning from your mistakes!

Hi Inaki

I highly recommend the new 2.0 community since the spam is not being allowed to flourish there. The emphasis is on good content, true networking and relationship building. Those of us who are moderators work closely with each other and Wincer to maintain a quality network. I think you would fit in nicely there!

You can consider this a personal invitation!

Hi, Legorburu

We suggest our members to post subjects in new community.

You may create new group in it.

I just checked the links myself and ALL seems to be working OK. I am able to get to ALL LINKS, blogs, groups etc. just fine. You may want to clear your cookies and retry and if that does not work you may need to reboot your computer. I find that sometimes have to reboot and clear cookies several times a day to prevent my computer from freezing up. Just a thought. I hope I have helped.
