Water ! Water ! Water !

Granted we all must drink water to live, but do we know how much our bodies need? Since no two people's body's are exactly the same, the generic "drink 8 glasses per day" is not a sufficient formula.  This is a more exact way to determine YOUR body's need for water and help your body keep YOU healthy. With the sweltering heatwave we had the previous weeks here in North East, this has helped me a lot...here is a little known fact: by the time you are thirsty, your body is already on its way to dehydration, a very unhealthy and potentially dangerous situation.

So... determine yours and drink up!  Here is the formula:

Your Body & Water - To estimate how many cups of fluids your body needs daily just divide your body weight in pounds by 2. This will give you your daily fluids requirement in ounces. Dividing the ounces by 8 gives you the number of cups you have to drink. For example, a woman weighing 128 lbs would require: 128/2= 64 ounces, 64 ounces/8 = 8 cups of fluids.

Stay healthy....
