I made a blog and hit submit and nothing happened and there was no error message explaining what was wrong. This could be why I never use this site because nothing works. Suggestions?

This can happen on any website but that you are having the problem over and over here at APSense is unusual because many of us do this often and have little problems or none at all.

You may already know to do any or all of these but this is what occurred to me after thinking about your question.

When publishing a blog here at APSense:

Make sure you have a title entered.
Make sure you have selected a category
or your blog won't submit/publish.

If the above doesn't resolve the problem:

Then see if there is anything on your end that is causing this to happen. (odd diagnostics but I tend to start this way to narrow it down to the actual problem :: The site or not the site. That is the question)

So, there is several ways to figure out what the problem is that you are having but that would require knowing a little more about when, what, why, where, and whats of your browser, computer, internet connection ... and it may even be as simple as cleaning your cache and deleting cookies then logging back into the site.

I would try that first.

ok. What browser are you using? IE and Firefox have both worked for me on this site but it could be in your settings. Make sure you accept cookies from the site.

Also make sure this site is added to IE Internet Options under site privacy if you have chosen to overide cookie handling.

To safequard against this problem (which took me a long time to learn to do and I still gamble with this one) paste the html to your blog into notebook so you can post it to the site again when a mishap occurs.

I have had times when I clicked the enter key or went to type text on some other sites and wasn't able to do it.... but the issue there was with my pc having low virtual memory and bogging down... that is something else that I don't think is what you are dealing with.

ok... here is what I do here at apsense....and now that I'm thinking about it I did have posting problems by not following a simple rule that works for me. When using the design mode I click submit when finished. When using the html mode I do the same. Just don't go back and forth between the two modes unless the APSense server already has your blog on it! *** I generally do not to go back and forth between the two modes to check things. You can always open a new tab to see what has changed and how it looks! and once we get this fixed!
