AP-Censored?

I'm truly tickled at this one.  It seems that I have been "censored"  A post that I made to the APSense group has disappeared with no explanation at all.  I'm trying to figure out what could have caused the mysterious disappearance.

The Post was entitled "The Riddler is Busy Indeed" in reference to all of these question marks populating the site.  Profiles with pictures receive more attention, it seems to me more attention is a benefit to the members here.  I think it even had two tops and comments.

Perhaps it was the fact that I pointed out that many of the existing members (50+ honor points) have not taken the time to complete their profiles.  Again a complete profile brings more attention to the member.  So what was the cause of the mysterious disappearance of a post that would have helped the members in the long run?  And it wasn't an existing topic issue either.  If it was them there needs to be a major overhaul on the search parameters since nothing came up.

I really would like to know what the cause was.

Has the original mystery been solved yet? Are posts still being deleted with great regularity? I haven't had this happen to me, but it sounds a little mysterious...

Hi, Cheryl,

I remember the blog and it was quite innocuous.

If it was deleted by the moderators without prior reference to you then the situation stinks.

Nobody should be able to delete a blog and the responses when it relates to the failure of many members to properly introduce themselves.

Three questions immediately arise:-

1 - What do they have to hide?

2 - Why do the moderators feel it incumbent upon themselves to connive in the hiding?

3 - Do these question marks represent real people or are they multiple personnas?

When I can't explain it and it is a good thing
I say it was Magic.
When it is something I can't explain and it is a bad thing.
I blame it on Gremlins.

Sooooo..... The Gremlins took it,

Sorry to hear about your problem, Cheryl. I can understand your frustration. Things like that have happened to me at other sites but not here. Yesterday I had 2 months of efforts at blogspot.com DISABLED so I was forced to DELETE all that work manually just to keep that acct unlocked. Once I dd that my youtube acct was reopened. Someone must have got a burr up their butt and complained to Google(who runs both youtube and blogspot). So it kina sucks. I SAY what I THINK and I write about it accordingly. It's SAD that folks who DO NOT want to hear the TRUTH resort to childish tactics. Although I never graduated college but in 6 years I had a journalism major with a political minor. Just a little background info on me. So you know where I am comig from. Take care. Karl

The blog was about all of these profiles that do not have photos but the "Question mark" avatar. It was about leaving profiles incomplete and the fact that having a photo or avatar or your choice which is unique gets you more attention not just from other members, but from the APSense crew them selves since profiles with pictures and a certain number of honor points get featured in the guess who section also.

Cheryl... NOT GOOD... it is not good that your efforts kind of disappeared; in fact, if you did not delete it yourself, as was suggested by other comments, than the group admins must have done it. Did you question them?

Deleting comments from groups, blogs is not a good idea in my opinion unless it is deragatory in some sense or harassment; I feel that comments should be looked upon as conversation, a way of communicating and learning. That is after all why we all write: to present our opinion or knowledge and expect some feedback; -, +, or funny.

Cheryl... not knowing the content of that particular blog of yours, can't say why it might have disappeared accidentally or purposefully, but it is a darned shame that it did.

of the group perhaps making a mistake.........
