The Tackle Myeloma Foundation was established by Elijah Alexander, a former NFL linebacker after he was diagnosed with the disease. Alexander really felt the impact of the incurable blood cancer when he saw all the children who were battling it right along side him. After seeing this Alexander expanded his foundation from just supporting cancer research to helping families with the financial burden this cancer brings.
On September 2, 2008 TMF is holding a Celebrity Golf Tournament which will be sponsored by Titan Consulting and other businesses who care about our community's future. All of the proceeds will go to the International Myeloma Foundation, Medical City Dallas Children's Oncology department, and other select organizations that share common goals.
