My Baby Graduated Pre-K Today!

This picture was just taken tonight.  My baby girl graduated from big Pre-K today.  I am sure many of you know this feeling that I am going through, it is pure excitement!  But it is also a time to realize that my baby....is not a baby anymore.  OR IS SHE?????   LOL.  She did tell me today that she was not a baby anymore (when I called her baby).  Well.....ROTF!!  I just walked in the living room to put her to bed...and found her this way (she usually uses her past baby stuff for HER babies)!  What can I do or say??......she is still there and I just can't move her............this moment....PRICELESS!!!Oh my OLDEST baby...is graduating from Elementary school....and of to Jr high!  Look for this next moment in time!

Nomore...Congratulations. All the children claim they are no more babies, until caught with their favorite blankie or topple( my son's phrase for bottle}, little do they know they will always stay our babies! My son thought my youngest daughter's name was Baby for real until SHE started pre-K and her friends started calling her by her real name! and he would argue with them to call her Baby! It was cute.

Jenn... Your Baby is the cutest and of course her mom is too! God Bless and many happy Graduations to come..

Your oh so big little girl must be feeling the pressures of growing up!

I have a grandaughter who starts using a bottle every time her mom would have another baby

Cute at 1.7 then again at 5 but just to be silly!

she is +10 and now it is just to stay hydrated! LOL at night cause they
sleep upstairs and it is soooooo hot up there!

oh... the 6 month old little brother of hers? he's a cutey... no pics on my
pc or I'd share them with you

My grandmom did the same thing with her kids and us grandkids... counting all the chickens to make sure everyone was safe at home-- Good thing my mother didn't develop that habit with us males-- She did keep an extra eye on my sister, though! :)

You can never escape "Baby" status. My mom passed away when I was 40 she lived with me until the end. She would never go to bed until her baby was home from work. Since I worked swings it was always close to 1 am or later. Mom would be sitting there in the living room waiting. As she said she could not go to sleep until her children were "home and safe."

When my big sister would come to visit she would get the same treatment. Mom would not go to bed until she was in the house for the night!
