The world is stark staring mad!!!!!

I make no apologies for passing on this message which is from the daughter of a Toronto couple who used to run a Bible and Book Store. They were murdered. When I had to testify at the murder trial of my parents a week ago, I was asked to raise my right hand. The bailiff started out, 'Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth ?
Why do so many of us live in the past, bewailing the actions of those long dead while our own authorities are busily tearing down the very fabric of our society TODAY! My sincere thanks to Dave Cottrell for passing on yet another example of the stupidity and arrogance of those who should know better and the futility in trying to get them to live in OUR world. These people live in a strange place removed from sanity and consequences. The very power of their status means that they can behave as though we, the people, are of no account. BUT WE, THE PEOPLE, GAVE THEM THEIR STATUS. WE, THE PEOPLE, STAND EQUALLY CONDEMNED! The Old Coot |

| Arthur someone your friend Dave trusted probably sent it to him and so on. It's not your friend it's the person who first put this together who is responsible. That party set this whole thing in motion and they depended on the fact that we trust our friends. I'm just very suspicious and skeptical of all these e-mail campaigns.

| Hi, Cheryl,
Since I had absolute trust in Dave, who sent me this, I didn't do my own check. Obviously I should have done. The Old Coot |

| Arthur the moral of this story is important, however the story itself is a lie. Why do Christians think embellishing or capitalizing on the tragedy of others to push their agenda is right? Lying itself is a sin. http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/sohelpme.asp The murder described occurred in Rayton MO on October 20, 2004. The Victims are credited with three sons yet nowhere at all is a daughter mentioned. This story started circulating in 2005 before the accused was even brought to trial. This is a lie based on the tragic misfortune of a family in a small Missouri town, perpetrated by a "God-fearing Christian" Who decided to lie to support his own agenda. Sounds exactly like those people being decried doesn't it. The first thing we need to learn a GWB should have taught us that lesson, The word God coming from someone's mouth does not make them Christian. This entire e-mail campaign is one of the most un-Christian things I have seen. The family affected has my sympathy for being used in this manner instead of left alone to deal with their grief. get protected before it happens to you |
