I use as little energy as possible all year round... :)

No more light bulbs, candles will do... I walk almost everywhere, it's better for my body... I celebrate the Earth all the time! :)

Hopefully, folks got the word on this and participated. Myspace even blackend out their background, to show support.

Hopefully, people will do their part everyday. I'm the light police in our home, making sure lights are out when someone steps out of their room.

I saw a program on Tv just last night, about all the problems surfacing at an amazing rate, pertaining to plastics.
I was pretty appalled at what plastic pollution alone, is doing to our habitat.

I found this article, worth reading. I know that there are so many other issues going on with our planet, but sometimes addressing one issue can play a big role as well. I plan to practice what I preach. I'm going to invest in my own canvas bags to do all of my shopping. No more plastic bags for me. It's a small step, but we have to all start somewhere.
