Please Spam in Human. Thank you Akismet for Weeding out Non Humans

I have Posted a picture of what my Akismet filter is picking
up on my wordpress blog. I have never posted a picture here
before so I hope it comes out clearly.
What in the world does this stuff say? I think aliens are
visiting my blog. I have received 168 totally bizarre comments
to my blog this month.
So I decided to give a spamming class for all of the aliens
out there. Use Proper Spam etiquette as follows

1. Use actual words, do not just make them up.
2. Put the words in an order in which humans will understand.
3. Use only 1 Link
4. Your comment should be on the article you just read.
5. Just a link to your site with no other words is unacceptable.
6. No long lists of misspelled porn words

Thank you for visiting. I am just trying to find humor in the
weirdness of the internet.
Please if you read alien translate this stuff in the picture
and tell me what it means.

I have a slightly different problem.

My blog at http://www.costadelsol.mylocalgazette.com/blog is receiving posts which should, really be treated as spam because they are nothing to do wiith what my blog is about - the trouble is, I am getting some really great articles that are simply too good to delete!

I would like to Suggest that anyone that has a Wordpress website should change your Password
every month. I usually change mine towards the last week in the month.
This throws off those Hackers.
They find great ways to get your Password and it's real easy for them too.

Well Gary. I like wordpress except you can not have any java script (This is actually good for me because I went a little nuts on my blogger blog with all of the community scripts there- I wound up with allot of clutter). The akismet spam feature is a must. I found that if you use the posts option with tags at wordpress you get a bunch of tag surfers and better google rankings under those tags, for some reason the page option does not offer the tags. Good luck.

Sherri since my appalachian blog hit number 1 in March on Google, and Aol i have had some really weird things going on also. However i was able to fix it through Blogger. I joined wordpress yesterday to see what would happen with that. Guess i was lucky. so far nothing has changed my rankings. Spammers have been a problem with my websites at points in time when our sites success seems to be on the move. To me that says that hacker or hackers was able to access a code or codes i use. So my answer to that is, i am careful about sending anything to anyone that asks me certain things about my sites or that is personal. Guess this ol hillbilly just ain't smart enuf to keep up with them wizards on here hehe. Anyway Sherri i like your spunk and willingness to work as hard as you do to be successful. Your friend at Apsense.

I figured out if you approve them, yes the track backs and ping backs will show on your page. I think the best way to this is to leave them in you akismet folder until the 15 days are up when Akismet automatically deletes them. That way they are linking to you for 15 days, without you linking back

The thing I am trying to figure out is the ping backs? Naturally you want as many links back to your site as possible. But I wonder if you de spam those, if they show up on your blog somehow? I have to research that topic a little more and I think that the answer is possibly in one of these great links you left me.

Wow Sherri-Anne You beat me to it.
I too was going to write about this topic.
Akismet does work. I have it on my Wordpress blog and website.
I can't tell you how many times it saved me from spammers.
I have had some real "off the wall" comments from spammers that have nothing to do with my blog.
Akismet removed them all before I even knew what was going on.
My latest blog "Stop Spammers Cold with Spam Arrest" at...
http://www.apsense.com/article/117561.html discusses this problem a little.
I got the idea to install the Akismet from listening to Mark or (MkWeb) over at "The Old Coot's Blog"...
http://www.apsense.com/subject/29977.html
I am happy to say Mark was 1000% right
and the Akismet does work to filter those annoying Spammers.
Great blog Sherri-anne
Tps
