I wrote this blog just a few days ago and had it removed told me to place under my own groups not the Apsense group....................FIRST TIME MANAGEMENT REACT IN A GOOD WAY............

AFTER ALL THERE IS SOME ONE READING WHAT I WRITE......

April 5, 2008

Hello,

I See Nothing Has Really changed.....But l Still Have Feelings...

Just like to say hello to all my loyal friends here, l suppose to a certain degree l have not been very active on here. But l do have the ability to still pop in and out, just a time factor thing. Hey l do read all the good articles on here just by pass all the promotional stuff.

Like the title say's nothing really has changed here, it has been a good ride on here but like all good things they do come to an end. I guess my last blog pretty much summit how l felt and what l felt was happening here at Apsense nothing personal. Apsense will always be one of the Top Networking Sites l belong too. The members here have taught me things l never even though about, for that l am grateful, l met so many great people, from all over this wonderful world of ours.

For some of you who know and almost understand me, they understand one thing it comes from the heart. These words do have a significant meaning to expressing my true feelings, l always spoke what l though and believed in, was sort of hard to hold back most times. Hey no sense in specializing in pre meditated fabrication, that would not be very polite at all.

I am going to keep this very short honestly. The reason l wrote this short note is cause l do miss this wonderful site and some time soon l do hope to be back full time and see some changes that need to be adjusted. That is a nice way of putting it, see no holding back, just being me.

I do miss you all, now l have to think been so long since l have posted anything now what category do l place this short update.....................:}

Things tend to go in waves, and right now, Apsense seems to be on the downward
side of the wave.

Everything changes though, and soon, the wave will move along and we'll be
on the upswing again.

That's how I'm looking at it currently, anyway!

I am tired of hearing "This is a great social network".
If it's so great how come none of us here are making any money????
WAKE UP PEOPLE.
This place has NO LIFE right now and we have no way of engaging our Newbies
because I haven't seen any in MONTHS.
Without Newbies your products and services won't sell.
A complete waste of my time and yours.
That is what we should be discussing here.
Not how great Apsense is because right now "APSENSE IS IN THE DOG HOUSE WITH ME".

Hello Eric, Arthur,

Great points, love the expression of good old yellow snow we do have a great amount of that in my back yard. Like most networks or communities you will get an enormous amount of members trying to promote what l and many realize garbage or absolute junk offers that have zero benefits to anyone other then the actual promoter. If we all could join a program and make the ridiculous amounts that they say you will make then we would all be very rich, not going to happen not today or tomorrow very few have actually ever made money on the Internet. This is a solid fact.

The main reason l liked and joined Apsense was to get away from this type of self marketing and it provide me with the ability to learn many new concepts, ideas and information l had an interest in. This is what made Apsense very attractive for me and having your ABC's promoting your products until l lost all of my material l had there. Have not replaced all of what l had in my business centre perhaps one day soon. Apsense has lost a lot of good members who took the time to write creative and informative blogs that had meanings and great debates among it's members, it was like going to a bar and have a great conversation with the locals, what made it so attractive.

Look at the material that is been shared among our community it's rather boring for me anyhow, more then likely not a very fair thing to say but not much has really caught my attention. Much of the blogs that have been created have some form of catch as in some new program you should join and your going to become successful over night. When l first joined up back on September 15, 2007, l was so addictive to this site l needed to read all the new blogs even if l wasn't interested in that topic. I made a habit of reading and providing my two cents worth of feed back.

Today your lucky if you get 5 or 6 comments on your blog, yes people still top it but have no time to leave a comment. Comments on a blog means one thing you got the attention of the members and they have an interest in your blog and took the time to leave a comment and it is your responsibility as the owner of that blog to at least reply to his or her comment. When you write a blog you had a reason for writing it and sharing it with the community, why you wrote it in the first place. WE all learn from each other, what better way can you think of learning new material meaningful stuff that you can actually apply to your daily life and improve your standards and quality of life. Think about it, we all need some form of improvement and found some of the greatest advise from members here.

I didn't join Apsense to make money so all the advertising of money making programs really don't interest me at all. What interests me is when people reply to my blogs and leave a comment that is what turns me on and what made Apsense so attractive to me. As Jeff said a few days ago, he has had Apsense all to himself.....

So which way is Apsense going with our members, what can they do to make this the site it use to be. Like l said many weeks ago hey how many members upgrade on here................... Let me see hmmm l think we all know the answer...........Perhaps it is in the stars.........

The Old Coot - Mar 29 2008 05:17 Report Unrelated Comment
Hi, Eric,

The quote from The Go Givers is not really aposite if applied to a community like Apsense.

The one common denominator in all these "community" sites is that they start off well - AS COMMUNITIES" and then the 'so-called' internet marketers discover them and totally corrupt the whole purpose of the site.

I may be old fashioned and probably have a screw or two loose but I look upon these communities as places where expertise can be shared and mutual help given while healthy discussions can be had on just about any subject under the sun.

How can you have a discussion when you are presented with a blog (and let's not forget the purpose of a blog!) that tells you about the next best thing - no selling - join now in pre-launch(?) - earn from seven income streams - this pays $90,000 a month (1,000 members x $90.000 = $90,000,000 per month - yeah, right!) - backed by the world famous person I have never heard of (I did discover he is into training shoes) - but not a single detail about products or how you actually earn your $90,000 a month (except that there is no selling) unless you sign up now? (Yes, that is a current blog.)

Just how many blogs like this does it take to kill off a community?

Come to that - who takes any notice of them apart from newbie wannabees who haven't yet learned not to eat the yellow snow?

Hi

Interesting discussion. I guess that I'm guilty of neglect also. I was interested in the early weeks but now only re-visit intermittently to see if there is any mail.

Why? probably the answer is that there is little productive to do on here. Networkin has been mentioned and in a sense there is plenty of that - but I'm reminded of an extract from -

"The GO-GIVER" Bob Burge & John David Mann.

"Sam continued. "Now, by a network I don't necessarily mean your customers or clients. I mean a network of people who know you, like you and trust you. They might never buy a thing from you, but they've always got you in the backs of their minds." He leaned forward and spoke with more intensity. "They're people who are personally invested in seeing you succeed, y'see? And of course, that's because you're the same way about them. They're your army of personal walking ambassadors.
"When you've got your own army of personal. walking ambassadors, you'll have referrals coming your way faster than you can handle them."
Joe had always considered himself an accomplished networker, but he now found himself reexamining every business contact and networking relationship he had. An army of personal walking ambassadors. Did that describe his network?
Were all these people he knew "personally invested in seeing him succeed"?"

So to my mind the question is - does APSENSE or any of the other systems provide the mean to achieve the sort of networking envisaged above - to build mutual trust and respect and to seriously exchange business credentials and offerings - with a view to becoming mutual promoters?

Just my two bobs worth - Eric
