Where is the biggest threat to your identity?

Businesses are spending millions to avoid being hacked.  That's a good thing around 15% of security breaches are caused by hackers.  But more and more often we are seeing that breaches are being caused by the businesses themselves.

How many businesses are dumping personal information on a daily basis?  Yes many get caught, how many more don't?

Once again the State of Florida has a business dumping personal information on customers.  Thing back not too long ago the same thing happened in Washington State.  It was pretty much ignored by the authorities.  For that matter Florida also had a recent case previous to this one.

So what do we label this trend?  Ignorance? Callous disregard?  Just don't give a blank?  Whatever we call it the trend shows that our information will be exposed through questionable business practices.  Thank you Texas Attorney General, Greg Abbott for letting businesses in Texas know they will not get away with it!
