PayPal Rocks the Pay Per Click Industry

by Sherri-Anne Myers Ladystrange Lingerie
Who knows why Paypal decided to shake down the PPC (Pay Per Click) Industry? Pay Per Click website owners have had a rude awakening with frozen paypal accounts. Some reports of accounts frozen up to 180 days. Results from different websites varies, some have had the audacity to zero out accounts

Well, honestly Paypal is about the bottom dollar and consumer complaints. Evidently many consumers did not like the service or products these companies provide. It seams that most of the programs hit were the type offering upgrades and referrals for sale. Maybe, clickers were not getting there payouts as promised.

In a rash chain of events the PPC industry jumped on the Alertpay bandwagon. The down fall of Alertpay is its expensive processing fees. The other problem with alertpay is that they support less countries. Quite frankly, this does not resolve any problems. It will not be long before alertpay dumps unscrupulous businesses also, due to customer complaints.

Overall, I think this shake down is a good thing for the consumer clickers. I do not advise that you use another payment processor in order to do business with fraudulent websites.

On another thought I think it is wise for website owners have a back up plan to offer several payment choices. Gift cards, reloadable gift visa cards, Amazon certificates, etc are great alternatives.

I plan on using and or earning enough credits at the accused sites to cash out on advertising for sites that are more reputable and then canceling my accounts with them.

This was written as a food for thought for my fellow clickers there are plenty of honest sites still taking paypal.

You are welcome post any comments or thoughts on this matter.

Happy Clicking :)

There are still tons of "paid to" sites with the exact affiliate and program structure that Paypal has long ago stated they will not support. People keep on misunderstanding PayPal, including program owners.
