Have You Been Blocked?

 Have You Been BLOCKED By Another Apsense Member? I Want Names.......Make It Juicy... I have been blocked by a few Members without any explanation as to why I was blocked. Have You Been Blocked?.. ..... And By Whom?.....I Want Names. I have not blocked anybody as to date but I am curious and would love to know. I have put some Members who signed up for Apsense and did not create any Blogs or Groups over in the Denied Members section of my Contacts. My feeling is if they are not going to be active in the Community why should I add them to my list of Contacts? I simply put those over in the Denied Members section of the Contacts. When and if later they start to show some promise and show that they are active in the Community by creating a Blog or Group then I will add them to my list of Contacts. But about being Blocked... this raises a very important question for you Networkers. How do you expect to be an active Social Networker if you have closed yourself off from everyone else in the Community by Blocking them? How do expect to build relationships with people when you block yourself off from others? To top it off...most of these Members who Blocked me, I never even bothered to send an email to for anything. In fact I have not even used my Email privileges here at Apsense for over 11 months. So was it even necessary to take the time to block me? I can understand if they or I were spamming you but if it's for no legitimate reason...... Something is wrong with you. I have my door open for everyone to contact me via Apsense email and I want to know if you too have been Blocked for no reason by someone else here at Apsense or am I just the only Lucky on here that's been Blocked. | I have not blocked anyone nor do I think I have been blocked.. So I guess I am good for now. Although I do not mail alot..Maybe I should start!

| I have blocked one person. They know who they are and they know why. The reason they were blocked is that I have no wish to receive any communication from them. I can't see any point in permitting someone to contact me who I have no wish to hear from.

| I know as an admin for a couple groups here (Private groups with requirements for joining) I have had to deny applications to the group due to the requester not meeting the requirements. Usually, when I do deny someone, I will attempt to add them as a contact so that I can let them know WHY they were denied, since I cannot add anything to the message that is sent to them.
Maybe that would be a suggestion - to be able to ADD a comment to the reply message instead of the basic - You've Been Denied! with no reason. We don't need to edit the message, just have an option to append a short message to the end of it. MKWeb Learn Here Earn Here |

| BJ the answer to your questions is written clearly in all my comments here in this Blog. Spammers are not welcomed by me in my place of business and that is why those Powermall Women are Denied by me. Further more from the response I have received from other Members, it sounds to me that they are not very happy about these Powermall Members either so why don't you speak to them about that too. I do not need Penis enlargement spams and emails sent to my box from these so called members. My answers and reasons for Blocking them are again written clearly in this Blog for all to see. My issue is with Active Apsense Members who did not have a problem with me before and both of us were clearly not Blocking each other but later they blocked me right after my Petition for no reason other than the fact that they disagreed with my Petition and took it personal or disliked me for whatever reason. | Hi there Blocking has such a nasty conotation for most people - and is something one does when they DO NOT WANT ANY CONTACT with aother member.- and here we dont have any other option. Contact or Block Bj you have actually made an excellent case for having the system known inanother community as "silent mute" That way you can click on their name in your contacts list and just not receive information about their blogs or groups from them from them - without deleting or blocking them. It is interesting that here at ApSense there is no distinction between denying an invitation and blocking someone. If I turn your invite to be a contact down - I believe you then are blocked by me by default , instead of just not being added as a contact.. And there doesnt seem to be an option here to delete a contact without blocking them. You know well the option that can exist "- xxxx has left your contacts list " - but is NOT blocked. It is a very tidy way of sorting out an over long and passive contacts list. without blocking someone. Maybe this is something that should be looked at . I would be horrified if , by trying to reduce my contact list and clear it of people who just have me on a list, I actually end up blocking them for the future. For Angel Lovers Earn $$s |
