Are You Being One Of Those Anonymous Social Networkers?

Are you being one of those anonymous social networkers?

Oh come on....you must know what I am talking about.

I am speaking of those who try to sell you their product but they don't use their real names.

There is no name listed anywhere but a so called first name and you are expected
to believe that this first name that they give you is their actual name.

Have you ever made the mistake of doing business with these types of people?

Have you even done some detective work on your own and maybe did a Google Search
on their so called name to even see if they are listed in Google?

I would like to address the credibility of some of our own here at Apsense
that criticize everyone else and their businesses but sell in Apsense and Online
without a trace of their FULL NAMES.

Some of these very people are among us here at Apsense.

They speak about Positivity and doing what is right but yet they expect you to buy
from them blindly.

Why we even have one hiding among us here in Administration.

"SURPRISE COCKROACH".....

I would suggest that you always look for a FULL NAME of the person that you are going
to be doing business with before you shell out any of your hard earned cash.

Make sure to do a Google Search on them and see what comes up.

Use me for example and you will see that I have my full name here at Apsense listed
and that name is correct and creditable because I have received my Apsense checks
may times and cashed my checks.

Also I have a legitimate Paypal account that clearly gives my name and user id.

If you go to GOOGLE you will see me Jeunelle Foster listed in the Google search
with all that I do online.

Business is business but being responsible for yourself is something else.

I never set out to fool or steal from anybody

I have cleaned up after myself when I made my mistakes as I am still human
but I am sharing with you all what I have learned as an Online Marketer.

IT IS TIME FOR SOME OF YOU TO OPEN YOUR EYES.

Just because someone or something looks safe does not necessarily mean that they or it is.

LEARN TO USE YOUR SENSES MORE EFFECTIVELY.

With all the information available about scams, it's surprising how many people still fall for them! I go by the old adage, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

Can we please get something straight before I absolutely blow my stack?

The world is full of bad people.

Bad people want everything that they can get most easily.

The people you should worry about are:-

The next door neighbour who never has a cup of sugar to lend you.
The chap across the road who salivates as he watches you drive off in the vehicle he cannot afford,
The leery git who smarms at your children in the park.
The loose scruffs who hang around schools with no good reason.
The person who suddenly seems to roam your neighbourhood but you have no idea where they live.
The person who knocks on your door and asks for the wrong name.
The person in the supermarket who has a trolly with nothing in it - but has been there for some time.
The person who asks if they can use your telephone or your toilet. (Although it is still required, in Spain, that you let anyone who asks use your toilet - very few people ask nowadays).
The person who becomes over friendly in a queue..........

The list is endless.

These people all have one thing in common - not one of them will give their true name if asked for it and every single one has immediate and physical access to you and yours. Isn't that what an opportunist criminal wants?

You have little to fear, in all truth, from someone hundreds or thousands of miles away (unless, of course, you discover they are flying under false colours) but everything to fear (in this day and age) from someone you might see in your own street,

It is all about keeping a grip on perspective. Paranoia about what is theoretically possible will blind you to what is probably possible.

Nicely said, I use my own name anywhere. Identity thief? I don't know about that but I know 90%+ of the fake names are fake people. Real names maybe faked but how often compare to fake names?

Just wanted to add that there are MANY ways to protect yourself online and good old common sense goes a long way. There are quite a few ways mentioned in the report I gave the link to in my previous post. Credibility can make or break your business. When running ANY business online or off, it is prudent to use all measures available to protect yourself and again there are MANY. Business is business is business is business.

That report is a good read, great advice in there.

Actually identity theft happens more OFFLINE than it does online. According to the Javelin Identity Fraud Survey Report -- released by the Better Business Bureau and Javelin Strategy & Research.

http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2006/01/id_theft_survey.html

Most know this already:

Consumers can protect their financial data by using updated spyware, virus and firewall protection software and not responding to bogus "phishing" emails that request personal data.

One of the key points in the report.
