Combining Squidoo My Business Center and BlogsPosted Date: 2007-11-01 06:25, Pageview: 1413 |
This is something you may want to consider doing to help you promote your Apsense Business Centre and blogs.
I have created a Squidoo Lens along the same theme as my Apsense Business Center with a link on the lens to my business centre and a link on my business centre to the lens. I am also in the process of creating a Blog that will be linked to both.
The lens has just been published and currently has a position of 276,392 on squidoo and 11,635 in SEO and affiliate marketing (this is the bottom of the pile) and if I do nothing that is exactly where it will stay
Using Squidoo to help improve your traffic and page ranking can be very effective, if done correctly. Lots of people create a squidoo lens and expect to get an instant flow of traffic, without actually doing anything other that telling a couple of friends, or contacts within squidoo.
To generate a flow of traffic to your lens you need to promote it and also continue to add fresh quality content to your blogs and lenses
You can use the same tools for marketing squidoo as you would with any blog that you want to promote.
If you have a firefox toolbar then download the add-on Submitt’em now there are currently 113 places that your blog / lens will be submitted to, if you don’t have a firefox toolbar then I would suggest you get one!
The main other blog promotion sites I would look to use are:
By using all these blog submission services you will get a lot of traffic coming to your sites. I would also suggest combining this with delicious,digg etc.
The Other thing is to create a group of linked lenses and blogs around a simular theme and use these to funnel traffic to your main site.

| I am member in Squidoo. And I can say I love squidoo. I use squidoo to increase traffic. Squidoo is seo friendly lenses and most importantly they didnt spam means they follow and make lensmasters to follow search engine rules. |

| This is good for traffic, but Google doesn't like "Cross pollination" The best format is linking Site A to Site B Site B to Site C Site C to site D and so on. You could also add a link to site A on site D, but don't link from site D to site A (in reverse)... |

| These are excellent traffic tips for Squidoo lens creators. Squidoo lenses do not do well with normal traffic exchanges as they break out-of-frames. I also find joining the Squidoo groups helps your individual page rank as well. I just love Squidoo and can't wait to put these tips into practice. |

I have added onlywire link to the article and the lense has now moved to an overall position of 3,510 and is 95th in SEO ad affilliate marketing and that is in less than 36 hours.
