| Exactly, the biggest plus for today's identity thief is that most people only recognize financial issues as identity theft. After 12 years with the police department I saw a few firsthand cases of criminal identity theft. Since we were a small department with the time we really researched warrants before taking someone to jail. In a larger Metro setting the focus is going to be getting your processed and booked as fast as possible. They won't be as inclined to spend hours communicating with the issuing agency to confirm who they have arrested.

| Thank you Cheryl. Hope this helps eyes on this issue. Or even to receive a knock at the door from the FBI arresting you for a crime you know nothing about (but was done in your identity). Now, it is not just important to watch your credit, but to monitor your drivers license, everything that stores your 'identity'. Even you children's identity needs to be monitored!
