How Do Financial Transactions Take Place on APSense - APSense Help

When using the "World Of APSense" we are able to put our APSense advertising space up for sale using either "Auction" or "Buy It Now" options.

Auction Option

If we select the "Auction" Option then we set a minimum opening price and as with any auction members can place a bid higher than the current shown bid.
The "Auction" will run for 6 days and at the end of that period a notification is sent to the member with the winning bid and to you as the seller.
You will also see in your "World Of APSense" section a list of bids received so that, should the winning bid renege then, you can contact the next highest bidder and offer it to them.

Buy It Now Option.

With the "Buy It Now" option you enter a fixed price that you want for your advertising space. This again runs for 6 days or until a member clicks on the "Buy It Now" link, which ever comes first.
If a member clicks on the "Buy It Now" button you will receive a notification.

"Arranging Payment with the winning Auction bidder or Buy It Now purchaser."

To arrange the financial transaction you need to contact the purchaser and let them know how to make payment and where to pay to, ie PayPal, AlertPay, e-gold, or what ever else your preferred payment processor is.

At the same time you request the purchaser to send you details of the Ad which needs to include the destination URL the text to be displayed or the URL of the banner to be displayed.

"Note" if it is a banner you, as the seller of the Ad space, will need to go to the banner url and then right click on it and select Save As and then save it to your PC so that you can upload it when you place the Ad.

Important points to note.

Set your price sensibly. If you do not have a lot of traffic and are just building your presence in APSense, then try auction to start with, and start with a low opening bid.

As time goes by and you build your presence then you can set higher opening bids or use the Buy It Now option.

The arranging of, and making of, payments is a private transaction between you as the seller and the purchaser.

You, as the seller, keep all of the payment made. You do not have to pay anything to APSense.

APSense does not take any part in the financial transactions.

APSense only supplies the platform ("World Of APSense") for you to use to sell /buy ad Space.

In conclusion.

APSense is still very young and growing. If you put your Ad space up for sale, don’t be disappointed if at first you get no takers. You can always resubmit the Ad Space when the current offer expires.

Continue adding good content to your groups, blogs, and Business center to make them more attractive to members thus increasing your traffic and so increasing the potential interest of advertisers to purchase your Ad Space from you.
