I Am Not Watching Your Videos

I do not watch your marketing videos. I do not like my email, or websites speaking to me unless I ask them to. When I am online I intentionally have my computer on mute 99% of the time. I really find it annoying to be surfing along trying read something, and then suddenly someone starts to blab advertisements to me. As a matter of fact verbal advertisements will send me to that X button quicker than lightning.

Most of the video content is the same old crap and way too long, also. They all start the same 20 minutes about how they guy is living in the dumpster and now he is making millions. This guy  is making his millions selling you his secret strategy.

The reason I bring this up, is because I see more and more websites using nothing but videos. Really these videos remind of the stuff that is on TV every Sunday. Bottom Line people want to be entertained by videos. If you must do one, wear a chicken suit or something and make it last only 5 minutes. These are  the kind of videos that are truly viral.

By the way, I will watch and listen to 80's rock videos on youtube because they are entertaining and I requested to see them.

I am curious to find out if others feel this way.

To be perfectly true with You, it took a whole lot of time before I even noticed some sites HAD sound... I hardly ever surf with the sound on, and nowadays even less than before.

Hmm... Actually I hate hearing them (except for two of those), they are eating up my bandwith, AND keep on telling me th same old marketing crap..... but I think that some users wouldn't pay attention unless there is a voice or video material in their ways (see PTC clickers).... So.... that is why they are still alive =_=;
Some exchange programs already made restrictions on video/voice materials. :) That's good news for us... I guess...

What's the point of joining Social groups if you Don't see what is being offered by your fellow Internet Marketers. Actually what is the point of being on the internet if your not participating.

Work and No Play will keep the millionaire in you away.

A chicken suit Huh, not a bad Idea.

I actually chuckled Penny, because that has happened to me before. Kuwaitlady this pic is a few years old, I am uglier (and beefier) now so I am not excited to update it.

I am not a follower of Anna Nicole (not a hater either) so I do not know if there is something similiar or not. But I have not heard that before, interesting.

Yes I love all the oldies. It is funny I have a 1 year old grandson that actually likes the Happy Music, and he watches the Videos, too. Some of his faves are YMCA, Girls wanna have fun, Elvira, Celebration, Rock Lobster, etc... I prefer the more rock side of things. But he just so fun to watch dance to this stuff. I keep trying to think of more for him

Oh Sherry... you are soooooo right.
I also don't like it at all.
And I believe, that the most of the people don't like it too.
I want to make me an own picture, and mostly you are right, it's the same old story... and not true.
Music of the 80's is great.
I have a serial named "Feelings" (on tape still) which I like to hear, if I want to relaxe.
btw, you remind me of Anna Nicole Smith, i think there is a picture of her like yours here, isn't it?
Have a great day.
Warm regards

LOL ... thanks for this! I find all websites with automatic sound really irritating, as I work at home and it's often while the family is watching tv. I'll be quietly tapping away when suddenly my laptop blares out some song, or worse, announces loudly "ARE YOU MAKING THE MONEY YOU DESERVE!!!???" How annoying! Sure, have the audio - I often use it on my own sites, but please let people turn it on only if they want to hear it.

PS I actually love 80's music, so I'll definitely drop by that biz center now I've been properly warned ;)
This is what I do ...
