If you Are like me, you have fell into one after another bait and switch, get rich scheme. They claim to be free, then you find out you have got to pay something to get total knowledge. Then there are the 10 cents if you are lucky to click an e-mail (that you have got to stare at for 60 seconds), and paid surveys that give you a dollar in rewards after 20 minutes of time. If you were to add up the pay, it would be like 60 cents an hour.
 
 So you start thinking there is no way for me to work on the Internet and actually make a living. I will tell you after much trial and error, I have figured out the key to it all. I still have much to learn but, I have figured out a few things along the way.
 
 Referrals- You must refer people. I would sell my soul before I sold a spammy $300 get rich scheme. So I personally like to refer to free programs. Yes some of these are the cheap offers, and paid email websites. So now you are thinking, I do not talk to that many people on the Internet, and I do not have that many friends, How do I get referrals?
 
 The answer is to write, write, write. Create a blog, or website, there are many resources for free websites. Post comments on other blogs referring back to your website. Make sure you read the blog and make an intelligent response. Do not say something like nice blog, now check mine out. In this day and age most surfers belong to a forum or community where you can add a link in your signature line. Remember do not spam, it irritates the hell out of people, but feel free to join in a natural conversation on any subject with your signature line intact. I will elaborate on the referral topic again in this blog as it is detrimental to making money online. If you think you cant write just sit down and try it one day. You may surprise your self. Just be natural and do not sound like a blatant advertisement.
 
 Make sure to stay active in the programs you wish to promote. Some will drop you due to inactivity and it sets a good example for your referrals.
 
 Okay, now the final step is to tell your referrals how to succeed and get referrals for themselves. Remember their success is your success ( in essence they are working for you).
 
 I am currently reviewing several ( actually 40 or more) websites to measure their effectiveness. I think this is a good place to state that most of these sites record IP addresses and you will get caught if you try to sign up under yourself with a different email address. Also note that many offer sites have the same offers and most times you cannot get paid for the same offer on both sites, usually one of them will get denied.
