I have recently decided to get involved in Internet Marketing and Affiliate Sales.
The first thing I needed was a web page. There are lots of ways to get one for free but I decided to go whole hog and bought a domain name at http://namecheap.com.
I researched other items I would need and found all the necessary tools at http://ultimatemarketingcenter.com/x.php?a=r&id=16155_14. This is an affiliate link, which means if you sign up from it, I will earn some money. I thank you for that, but I can not recommend a better place to start.
They supply web hosting, auto responders, ad tracking and much more. And if you are really new to this, they even supply a "business in a box". I took them up on that, check it out at http://bridgettebell.com.
Notice that I used my real name for my domain name. Some people suggest using a domain name that indicates the type of business you are into. Wwwcandlemaking for example if you're into making and selling candles. I find that very impersonal and if you want people to trust you, why not use your name?
So now what, you may ask. Well, the next move is getting traffic to my site. More on that later.
