The Problem With Safe Lists

It seems like the easiest way to do Business online, send your commercial emails to people who don`t know, but who are fully expecting to receive these emails? Hang on .... that just doesn`t sound right. How can this happen without getting stomped on for spamming?

Simple, IF you know what is going on. Everyone on these lists, also known as safe lists, already knows they`ll be receiving emails from you and other members because one of the conditions of their “safe lists ” membership is just that ... to receive other emails.

Those joining the safe lists are quite willing to agree to this condition simply because they themselves want to send out their own commercial emails to the others on the lists.

Ok .... now here is the Problem in this system ... everyone is sending emails to each other but no one is reading them! Is this you? Are you dabbling with a safe lists and receiving the emails but not even bothering to open them? It gets worse ...

Some net-savvy members sign up using free or very infrequently used email accounts, they simply store them and log in now and then to delete the lot without so much as even glancing at your "awesome" email with the latest deal your offering.

Don`t be fooled into thinking safe lists are a quick way to build your subscriber base up, it`s much much wiser to start your own mailing lists by building it with opt-in subscribers.

No matter how tempting safe list seem to be, you will always have the Problem to contend with.

G`day Rockyp,

and your signature says it all. "Blast 37 million" .... ohhh
puhhhlease mate, sooner that type of trashy advertising
is dropped the better off we will all be. Good on you for
effectively using the safelist system, you talk of using
it the right way, well what is the right way and why isn`t
it taught to people.

Big companies use safelists, internet marketers seem
to abuse it more than anything so as far as "listening to
what other people say" about safelists, no I don`t. I go
on my own experience and it ain`t worth my time sorting
through the crap dealing with safelists.

The idea is great, the execution by IM`ers is atracious, it
boils down to none of you into safelist advertiizing teaching
the correct methods. New people join and hey ... we can
blast any old shit to all these people and that is half the
problem ... mostly it is just that, shit.

I`ll see you in 10 years and see which one of us is more
successful then, you have a huge headstart on me but
I know what the outcome will be ; )

The safelist concept is more than just a haven for emails if utilized in
the proper manner you have more positives than negatives. Naturally
if you are listening to what people are saying about them and not on
a level where you will see how effective they are as list builders you
do not know the history of the safelist concept.

If you've submitted or committed to the safelist marketing concept it
is nothing but a controlled safelist. All of the concepts utilized in list
building are only controlled safelist marketing concepts. This is the
part we all miss. When there is a big new concept introduced it's
normally the big guns disguising the safelist marketing concept.

Another thing about the marketers that have been on line marketing
for a while all or the majority of them have safelist where they charge
big fees for and use them for a list they e-mail everyday. So there are
educational features about safelist that really need to be revealed
instead of concealed.

With this being mentioned I have so strong input on safelist and the
power concept they have. Used the right way they are one of the net's
most powerful on line marketing concepts.

I personally could not handle all the clutter in my email box with some of the safe list. Just trying to delete them all everyday was time consuming. I finally zapped on of my email accounts, just to get my self off the list of all of the safelist..lol

I did a search for Safe List that only allowed in House email advertisements.
I really have not had much luck with it either, however. A hand full of referals.
I rather pay a small fee and advertise to a popular Paid Per Click site.

When I'm a bit low on extra funds, I do some clicking on others ads, to save enough to get my advertising for free.

I found Search Engine Optimization sites to work very well too.

Social networks like Apsense, have been really good for me also.

I still consider myself rather a newbie, so I'm open for new ideas. I will definitley take a look at the download.

Thanks!

Hi Chris

Too right! One can cope with a few e-mails for the safe lists but when it becomes 10s 100s a day there is no way to even skim the subject line. I would expect people just set up filters to dump the safe list e-mail totally unseen.

Its also worth commenting it can be hard to get off some of the safe lists - when you have decided enough is enough.
