As stated by Captain Cook the pathway to success leads in many different directions; this being due to the fact that there are as many different definitions of success as there are people to ask a definition of.

In the ancient writings of the christian religion pathways to success are defined in two categories; a broad way and a narrow way. The broad being the way followed by most people and the narrow being found and followed by few people.

While the person who shared that particular insight with the world wasn’t directly speaking of business his metaphor of pathways applies as directly to business as it does to life itself. Success in business, especially in today’s world must be drawn out in a narrow direct and dynamic pathway or evidence shows a business will end in the realm of 98% that lose all their time, effort and money to disappearance and ultimate closure.

Drawing once again on the wisdom shared in ancient writings of the christian religion one can find the most direct and dynamic pathway to business success in the actions of the one who described the differences in pathways found and followed by people, even yet today.

Few take any notice that one of the very first things this individual did when he appeared was to build a hand picked network of directly trained, guided and mentored associates. Once these associates had engaged in a period of training, guidance and mentorship they were sent out in pairs to reproduce what their mentor had taught and shown them was possible. When sent out they were given direct instructions on what, where and how to achieve desired result, as well as what not to do.

In other words they were given direct instructions on the pathway that would and would not achieve their personal success. In the world of business today pathways of business are both broad and narrow just as they were in the times of the ancient writings of the christian religion.
