How does Blogging work? What do you talk about? Is it Business or just Social? H E L P Newbie here!!!! I have a couple of websites; thumbringsetc.com and mycashavenue.com Both of which are doing nothing to speak of, suggestions were made to blog and write articles. One article has been accepted, and still I still continue to think of things to write about. But blogging is a new thing for me. My eldest granddaughter tried to explain it to me, but she has many friends at 13. I not in that age bracket anymore. |

| Hi Karleen, Write! That may sound somewhat facetious, but that is what blogging is all about. Write. Write. Write. The more you write, the more your site gets noticed by the search engines, which means more people will find it. Write about what interests you. You could write many articles just about thumb rings and toe rings! Do a little research (Google is a great resource) and you could write about their history, ethnic origins, meanings to different cultures, the craftspeople who make them, the materials they are made from, where the materials come from, the people who mine or collect the raw materials, and so on. I can see a LONG list of articles possible just on these two pieces of jewelry, and the best thing about it is... you happen to sell this kind of jewelry!! Every time you post a blog, include a signature file at the end with your name, the URL of your website. You can also sometimes include links IN your articles (not too many) as long as they don't detract from the article. Here in Apsense, the code used for links is called UBB code. It's not allowing in the comments, but it IS allowed in articles that you write. It is done like this: [url=http://www.thumbringsetc.com]Thumb Rings[/url] If you used that in your blog, it would show as Thumb Rings blue lettering and would be clickable as a link. Write about anything else that interests you, as well. This is a big, big world, and there are lots of other people around the world who will be interested in reading about what interests you. | It would be a great city to start my invention in New Orleans.
If I find the investor it will be some think that I would like to do! poeple out there need to find great job to rebuild there city! | Hello Karleen, I am the mom of a soon to be 13 y/o, so I understand! We set up a family & business blog so she could write. It is a 5 in 1 blog. Brad & I do business post & Cait writes about her 2 favorite shows. She is in the proccess of writing about her 1st traffic exchange surfing contest. She also has her own business so she is going to be adding to that section also. I'm sure we are not following Blogging Rules but oh well!
