Visit an Asthma Specialist to Cure Asthma

by Avni Deshmukh Respiratory Problems

The causes of asthma vary from person to person and quite often these causes can be hereditary.

Millions of people across the world are suffering from asthma and scientists and researchers are looking for ways and ideas to treat the biggest respiratory problem of the world. It is not only genetics but even airborne allergens that can lead to asthma. The environment and the air around is also one of the major triggers of asthma.

Some common symptoms of asthma include tightness of the chest, difficulty breathing, wheezing, chronic coughing, and more. If you encounter any of these symptoms, then you must immediately visit an asthma specialist who will conduct few examinations to understand the type, cause and degree of disease and then design a plan of action for your recovery.

Causes of asthma, the biggest respiratory problem

1.       The environmental elements or irritants that can cause asthma include things such as dust mites that are present in our houses and animal hairs such as dog and cat hairs.

2.       People that live in cities are also more likely to develop asthma, as traffic pollution is also one of the bigger causes of asthma around the world today.

3.       Asthma is actually a reactive allergy that causes the airways to constrict when met with pollutants, but no single cause of asthma has ever been proven by scientists. It is also a disease that affects only certain people, and it is still not known why asthma affects some, and not others.

4.       The workplace too could be another cause for asthma. It may contain irritations such as glues and gasses found in the air that can lead to asthma in adults.

5.       All of you know that pollutants and toxins in the air as well as smoking can lead to asthma but what is often overlooked is the fact that genetics too can be a cause of the disease. If say, both your mother and father suffer from asthma, there is actually a one in two chance that you will also develop the disease, whether during early childhood or otherwise.

Asthma has many causes and as already mentioned, the direct cause is still unknown. So, be educated and try to keep the condition at bay.
