The Power of Determination

Fowell Buxton once said, "The longer I live the more certain I am that the great difference between men, between the feeble and the powerful, the great and the insignificant, is energy - invincible determination - a purpose once fixed, and then death or victory. That quality will do anything that can be done in this world; and no talents, no circumstances, no opportunities will make a two-legged creature a man without it."

Wow! That's a pretty bold statement, but you can't deny the value there is in having an invincible determination to win in any area of life. The attitude that says, I'm in it, to win it.

You don't see that attitude displayed much online. People jump from program to program without really giving themselves a chance to succeed. They get in and act as if they've had a eureka moment, but if results are not quick in coming, they quit and move onto another program. It's an endless cycle.

Such individuals would not dare admit that they might be a major factor in their lack of success. On the contrary, they will blame the program, their upline, the economy or any number of things. But it's very possible that their lack of success can be explained by their lack of determination and focus.

Make a decision and then stand by that decision. Focus your efforts and put blinders on to all the other online opportunities. There is power in focus. Stay on track, do what needs to be done, remind yourself of where you are going, and learn from those who are doing what you want to do.

Give success a chance to happen!
